Physical Description:
Luke stands at about six feet and one inch tall. His dirty blond hair at first seems to catch most peoples attention, but it’s his blue eyes that people remember the most because of their stunning quality. Luke isn’t extremely buff or filled out. Instead he falls on the thin side but tries to hide it with his loose clothing.
His usual day to day clothing usually consists of a tan cowboy hat, a partial black mask, a rather loose black or dark blue shirt, and loose black leather pants. For protection he usually carries two hang guns and a pair of knives and hardly travels far without them. Occasionally you can find him dressed in more friendly looking attire when he thinks that no one else is around.
Personality:
Luke has a tendency to keep to himself when he’s relaxing. Although when he’s out and about on his horse he’s quiet but somewhat out going. He still has a lot of youthful ways left about him and isn’t so prim and proper about all of his behaviors and interactions, especially after he’s gotten to know someone. This young man doesn’t believe in drinking even socially and can sometimes be interpreted as being very serious, at least momentarily.
Upon meeting people he’s usually rather quiet and reserved. He has a problem trusting people unless he feels that they aren’t able to harm him, which most likely explains why he finds himself more comfortable in the presence of women more than men. For the most part though he tries to keep his real identity secret from others. Luke does however have a soft spot for children, especially orphans. At the end of the day he wouldn’t mind eventually settling down and raising his own family, even if it means that he’d have to take in kids and not have a wife.
Past:
Luke grew up with a mother and a father down south. His father was a sheriff, and taught him all he knows about guns and personal protection. All was fine and well until one night when Luke was thirteen. Some men came to his house upset with his father and killed his parents. He managed to escape his house and town unseen. The town’s people had pronounced him dead along with his parents after the killers were supposedly captured and sentenced.
He found himself being temporarily taken in by an elderly Native American woman that lived on the outskirts of town at the time and knew what had happened. She took him in as long as she could without any one knowing that he was there. The woman upon his departure gave him a white horse and a mask that she claimed to have gotten from a local trader and sent him on his way.
From there he hit the road and headed north and started to go by the name Jude. On the road he found himself useful to people in various towns in various ways. He helped fend off some gunslingers, helped watch over some kids while their mom laid ill in bed, and helped out a sheriff here and there proving to be a mainly good guy. Luke or Jude has had some not so great moments though like any person, like the time that he got incidentally involved with the wrong side of the law and almost ended up shooting and killing a deputy.
