Among the many natural features in the Five Pines Canyon, there is one place in particular where the canyon walls become narrow and close, funneling in to an area enclosed by the massive rock walls. A few strong, well-placed fences have turned this into the Pickett's Corral. Mustangs are driven into this confined area and neatly trapped.

Board Description
Five Pines Canyons
Carved out by the strong currents of the Louis River, these extensive canyons have sheer and often dangerous cliffs. Sparsely covered with pine trees, five of these have grown to be magnificent land marks, earning the area its name. Mustang herds often find shelter here during the nights and in poor weather, but the roundups usually take place among these impenetrable walls of rock.
