Name: Boomer
Age: 7 years
Gender: Gelding
Breed: Quarter Horse
Training: Endurance and small amounts of jumping, but just what he encounters on the trail- trained for Western riding.
Physical Description: Boomer is 15.2 hh, a grulla, and has no markings. He's conformationally very nice, with the trademark hindquarters and muscular everything. He's built like a tank but moves wonderfully. Boomer does have a quarter horse head, kind of bulky looking. On his hind right leg, Boomer has a long scar over which hair grows back white. It extends halfway down his leg.
Temperament: Boomer is a willing horse, not stubborn at all, but when doing something new, it must be a patient process. He overloads easily and will just shut down if confused. Keeping it simple is best. Around other horses, he desperately needs a leader. He can't handle making decisions or trying to lead the herd. Often acts like a baby-sitter for younger or lower ranked horses. Though he doesn't like to lead, he will still fight for a middle rank. Generally, Boomer is an easy horse to be around and work with. Boomer will trust any human that is gentle and quiet around him, and doesn't favor one person over another. He doesn't spook easily either, but isn't a fan of dogs or loud noises.
Past: Boomer was born and raised on a ranch when Carla bought him. She depends on him to get her where she needs to go. When he was 4, he recieved the scar on his leg from unknown causes. He belongs to Carla Adams now.
