Breed: Thoroughbred x Mustang
Training: He's had only a year undersaddle but is coming along nicely. He's Rob's "going into town horse" and is worked around the farm. Rob is polishing him up as something to show off in an all around type of way.
Physical Description: He borderlines on liver chestnut in the winter but is more of a very deep sorrel in the summer months. Stocky and huge is a good way to describe this boy. He's about 16 hands and has a lot of good muscling. He gets his thick build from his mustang dam. He is sired by Collins' prized stud Valeur and was is first foal. This interesting combination has made Pepper strong, powerful, fast, willing to please and a horse with lots and lots of energy.
Temperament: Pepper is nice and calm on the ground. Where he gets this no one knows, but Collins claims is all the ground work he did with this gelding. They have been best buddies since day one. Pepper can act up around others but is rarely hard to handle. He also doesn't mind falling asleep while being tied in town.
Past: Born and raised at the Red Bronc Ranch. Collins wanted to know what kind of horse Valeur could throw even when mixed with a mustang. He chose a great dam and the result was Pepper.
