Tammo
Age: Eight
Gender: Stallion
Breed: American Quarter Horse
Training: Tammo is completely loyal to Vai, having been with her since birth. He can navigate anything, from wading through rivers to climbing up the sides of a rocky hill. He doesn't take to strangers well, but if they get close enough to Pavati, he will allow them to ride on his back. He is built for riding on the trail, a true Western horse.
Physical Description: Tammo is a stock-type horse, standing at about 14.2 hands and built for turning and speed. He is a strong animal, with a muscular body and impressive leg tone. His coat is a light coppery-tan color with speckles of while along his shoulder blades and sits. His legs are tipped in dark brown, and the coat color on his face is slightly lighter than the rest of his body. His nose is a pale gray color, and his eyes are hazel brown. His mane is dark reddish-brown, and a large white feather is tied into it near the top of his head. He is an overall healthy animal
Temperament: After being around humans his entire life, his temperament is both calm and obedient. Though he will only follow the orders of Vai or anyone she trusts highly, he will not buck a human off of his back unless they try to ride him away or hurt him. He is not completely submissive, though, and he will kick out and fight as hard as he can when he needs to. He is often curious about the lives of wild horses, but he has no desire to run away with them. He is perfectly content following the orders of his mistress, who treats him kindly and feeds him well.
Past: There's not much to tell about his past. Tammo was born and raised on a small ranch owned by Vai's father. He was Vai's first, and so far only, horse that she owned. As a foal, Vai would baby him, feeding and washing him, and making sure he and his mother had plenty to eat and drink. Once he was big enough, Vai stopped riding one of her father's horses and began using him as her only mount. He has been with her ever since.
