I'm going to be out of town Friday and most of the weekend, just to let y'all know. I'm sure Beth will take good care of everyone while I'm gone, though. Don't have too much fun without me.  |

Heh, I think I'll be safer from it where I'm going than where I am now. There's six or seven suspected cases of it in my area... but they haven't confirmed it yet. One of the public schools nearby was shut down through precautionary measures because one of the students seemed to have it.
It's freaky... but there's nothing I can do about it other than to wash hands and refuse to share food/drinks and such. If it comes, it comes. So far it sounds like it's pretty darn nasty and miserable, but only life threatening to a few.

We have at least one confirmed case in my county and several suspected cases within the bordering counties. It kind of makes me a little nervous, but not too badly. Like you said you just have to be careful.
